89: FEAR OF GETTING OLD

I fear of getting old
To grow weak and brittle
To stoop and kiss the earth
To be leathery and wrinkled
To lose all five senses - gradually
To lose my memory and the power to - memorize
I see all of these signs on all aging people
Becoming relics of the past
And I fear - I fear old age
I wish I could stay in the flower of my youth -
Eternally
