Rumbling and pounding noise do I hear,
From a distance not so far from me.
The Earth shakes to a degree
Every time it pounds and rumbles.
It mimics the likeness of a small
Earthquake.
Is it a monstrous truck?
Is it an Abrams tank?
Is it a heavy machinery?
Listening to those rumbling and
Pounding sound.
As the Earth shook every time it pounds
Sends a slight tingle to the spine.
Before setting eyes on it.
i remember the movie "dancer in the dark" with this poem. keep it up padli so i can feel what's it to be on the line.
ReplyDeleteThis is about the giant Press Machine in our factory. It has it's own section. All of the workers in that section wears earplugs to drown out the strong beating sound. The workers speak to each other in sign language. When it pounds the ground literally shakes.
