You! Oh Mediterranean!
Whom the Euphrates wants -
to flow into.
The Tigris too is racing it's way -
to you.
Even the Nile with it's seven heads is waiting -
To be accepted by you.


Oh please accept them Mediterranean!
Let them flow peacefully into your wide -
basin of sea.
For they are all my rivers.
Who has nowhere to go -
except to thee -
Mediterranean.
